The workshop is in Larkhall, which puts us nearer to most of Lanarkshire than any of the Glasgow based wheel shops. For Hamilton, Motherwell, Wishaw, Blantyre, Bellshill and the towns around them we are a few miles away rather than the better part of twenty.

That matters when something needs sorting quickly. It is the difference between a wheel going back on the car this week and the car sitting off the road waiting for a slot.

You do not need to drive anywhere. Tell us what the wheels need and roughly where you are, and we arrange a time to come out. The wheels come off at your address and travel back to Larkhall, and the car stays where it is.

Everything then happens in our own unit. Tyres off, stripped, repaired, refinished and cured with equipment that does not fit in a van. Wheels are inspected once the tyres are off, so anything that was not visible at collection gets raised with you before the work goes further.

They come back to you balanced and ready to fit. Most sets turn around in a couple of days from collection, and structural repairs or a two stage colour take longer. You get the timescale before we take the wheels rather than after.

Larkhall is the only town where we are genuinely on the doorstep. You can walk in with a wheel in the boot, see the lathe and the oven, and speak to the person who will be doing the work.

Everywhere else we are a collection service, and the town pages say so plainly rather than implying a unit round the corner. Glasgow, Paisley, Newton Mearns and Giffnock in particular are covered by collection only. We would rather tell you that up front than have you expect a local drop off point that does not exist.

What does not change with distance is the work itself. Every wheel goes through the same workshop, whether it came from four miles away or twenty five.
