What we do
Custom colours and finishes
Colour changes matched to your paint code, or something quieter, built up in stages and cured properly.
Our own workshop
The lathe, the booth and the oven are all in one unit in Larkhall. Nothing is sent out to anyone else.
Collected and returned
We come to you across central Scotland and bring the wheels back balanced and ready to fit.
Guaranteed, or redone
If you are not happy with the finish, we redo it. One workshop did the work, so there is nobody else to blame.

The problem
Changing colour costs no extra work
Because a refurbishment takes the wheel back to bare metal regardless, putting a different colour on costs no more labour than putting the original back. If the wheels are going to be done anyway, this is the moment to decide whether you actually want silver again.
The most common changes are silver to satin black, silver to anthracite, and standard finishes to gunmetal. All of them make a lighter car look more planted and hide brake dust considerably better.

Matching to the car
We can match to your manufacturer paint code so the wheels sit deliberately with the body colour rather than against it. Bring the car or the code and we will build to it.
Two stage finishes, where a colour goes down and a clear top coat goes over it, give more depth than a single coat and are what you want on a darker colour. They take longer because each stage cures separately.

Beyond car wheels
Brake calipers finished to match or deliberately contrast are a common addition. So are hub caps, centre caps and smaller parts that go through the same oven.
If you are having a set done and there are other parts you want to match, send them at the same time. It is one setup rather than two.

Drivers who came to us
Took my Mini here for my alloys to be refurbished and changed from silver to black. The results were amazing. So pleased and it was done in a matter of days. Very professional service and I would highly recommend.
Common questions
- Can you match my car paint code exactly?
- We work to manufacturer paint codes. Bear in mind that a colour reads differently on a wheel than on a body panel, because the shape and the light are different. We will show you a sample against the car before committing.
- Does a custom colour affect resale?
- A tasteful factory adjacent finish such as satin black or anthracite generally does not, and often helps. Bright or unusual colours narrow the buyer pool. Since the wheels can always be redone, it is reversible either way.
- Can you do a different finish on the face and the rim?
- Yes. A coated spoke face with a machined rim edge, or a colour with a diamond cut face, are both possible on wheels suited to it. Send photographs and we will tell you what will work on your particular wheel.
